C & C Technologies, Inc. Awarded 2006 International Achievement Award

On January 12, 2006, C & C Technologies was awarded the 2006 International Achievement Award presented by The International Trade Development Group and the International Center of Lafayette, Louisiana.Created to recognize outstanding contributions made to Lafayette's international image and commerce, the award debuted on January 14, 1998.Historically, the award has been given to individuals, but this was the first year that an entire company has been recognized.

Formed in 1992 by brothers Thomas and James Chance, C & C Technologies first specialized in conventional hydrographic surveys in near-shore and inland waterways.Over the years, C & C has built a global reputation as a leader in the survey industry for technological innovations such as Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) for Ultra-Deep waters and C-Nav Globally-corrected GPS services.

One noted team member, Captain Nestor Granelli, has been particularly instrumental in the international success of C&C Technologies.Captain Granelli initiated several of C&C's international programs and, working with Le Centre International and the World Trade Center in New Orleans, continuously promotes the Acadiana region's wealth of human and technological resources.
